John bought Tenant Data in 1996. He was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a business management degree He has been a rental property owner/manager since 1987 and still holds a real estate brokers license in Nebraska.
John is frequently asked to teach, present and speak about tenant screening around the U.S. John has been a member of the Downtown Lincoln (Nebraska) Rotary Club #14 since 1993.
Betty has been employed with Tenant Data since 1999, and has had part ownership in the company since 2004. She has worked with John Benson since 1987. Prior to Tenant Data, they both worked in the property management business. She has a full understanding of why screening your applicants before renting to them is important to a property manager. Betty has been a licensed real estate broker since 1994
She lives with her husband Alan Moore, who is also employed by Tenant Data. They live just outside of Lincoln, Nebraska with their 3 children. She keeps busy with her childrens' sports, music and other activities. She also volunteers in various youth group organizations.
Greg joined Tenant Data in January of 2002. He has worked as support staff or administration in various industries including Insurance, Transportation and Banking. Through the years, he has become knowledgeable in all areas of the business. He is professional, friendly and great with detail.
Greg immigrated with his family from Vietnam in 1978. Greg is an avid runner and has participated in several half-marathons, and his current goal is to participate in a full marathon. He also enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Abby and Bugsy and his bird, Blake.
Gail took the position as Tenant Data's Arkansas representative in 2006. She travels across the state of Arkansas speaking to landlords of the importance of tenant screening. She is our Lead Salesperson for the state, and handles support calls as well for our Arkansas clients. She has been involved in forming many of the Arkansas Landlord Associations.
Gail has been married to James for 45 years, and have 2 daughters and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Her true passion is being a landlord and helping make other landlords' jobs easier and more profitable.
Scott joined Tenant Data in 2009 and has been in the industry since 2003. He graduated from Oregon State University with a business management degree in 2000. Since then he has gotten his real estate license specializing in commercial real estate, became a property manager and currently owns his own rental properties and a thriving property management company in Southern Oregon.
When not at work Scott enjoys spending time with his friends and family, traveling, playing racquetball, softball, wakeboarding and jet skiing. He is very active in the community sponsoring multiple charity events and organizations.
Mary began working for Tenant Data as an administrative assistant in 2010. She currently assists in all aspects of the business including customer service, sales, and technical support, as well as background processing. She always welcomes you with a friendly voice.
Mary lives in Omaha, NE with her 3 children and one very-spoiled cat, Meatball. She enjoys antiquing, refurbishing old furniture, spending time with her family and cooking Sunday dinner feasts.
Julie is our Lead Background Processor and assists in customer service. She has been employed by Tenant Data since September 2011.
She enjoys her busy life with her husband Bruce and their 3 children. When not at work she enjoys watching her kids play sports, volunteering her time with her local community involvement organization, or working on her next creative DIY project!
Alan joined the Tenant Data team in September 2015. His work background has been specialized computer programming. At Tenant Data, he assists in technical support, database management, and is currently being trained in the compliance department.
He lives with his wife Betty and their 3 children. He volunteers coaching his children's basketball teams and enjoys watching movies and spending time with his family.
